An established international leading Aviation firm is currently seeking to recruit an individual to take up the role of Finance Coordinator to join their team within the accounting section of their organisation in Malta.
Responsibilities:
- Updating of the company’s suppliers’ accounts;
- Reconciling and analysing recorded transactions;
- Preparing of specific reports to internal and external agencies as assigned to him/her;
- Supporting the Chief Accountant in the worldwide intercompany clearing and consolidation procedures;
- Recording transactions accurately as to value and propriety of data in adherence to company policies and procedures and in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Financial Reporting Standards;
- Satisfying any additional duties emanating from the role.
Requirements:
- The ideal applicant must have a minimum of Advanced Level Qualification (MQF Level 4) in the Accounting Field and 3 years similar working experience or preferably a Diploma in Accounting (MQF Level 4 or higher);
- Preference will be given to applicants with 2 years’ similar work experience;
- The chosen candidate must have good computer literacy skills, including knowledge and experience in Financial Systems. Although not a pre-requisite, preference will be given to candidates who have worked with SAP;
- Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
