A new role has arisen within a local company specializing in ship repair.  The required individual form part of the administrative and will fulfill the role of Receptionist.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handling of all general front office operations;
  • Welcoming clients and other visitors upon arrival and directing them to the appropriate location;
  • Handling all email and telephone correspondence in an efficient and time effective manner;
  • Directing communication to colleagues when appropriate and necessary;
  • Booking meetings for colleagues, handling arrangements for meeting locations and preparing the boardroom for meetings whenever required.
  • Attending meetings whenever required as to take minutes;
  • Managing kitchen and office stock supplies;
  • Drafting contracts and reports as required;
  • Maintaining the filing systems in an appropriate and organized manner;
  • Fulfilling data inputting requirements related to internal records and databases. This may also extend to log books, bookkeeping and logistics reports.
  • Handling any other administrative duties which may arise.

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a receptionist;
  • Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English;
  • The ideal applicant must have good working knowledge of MS Office programs;
  • Preference will be given to applicants with an A’ level standard of education.
