One of the leading companies in Malta is looking for a Purchasing Clerk to join their team. The successful applicant will be tasked with several duties related to representation of the company in purchasing negotiations.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing purchase orders and tracking them as to ensure timely delivery;
  • Negotiating for the best purchasing packages in terms of quality, price, payment terms and delivery;
  • Updating internal databases with order details;
  • Liaising with the finance team with regards to any financial matters, including invoices and contracts;
  • Monitoring material usage through reports, budgets and trends;
  • Carrying out of market analysis upon the demand of upper management;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role;
  • Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • A minimum of an O’level standard of education is expected.
