We are currently seeking to recruit a motivated individual with an administrative background to join our client’s company under the title of Purchasing Clerk.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing purchase orders according to company policy;
  • Monitoring the smooth delivery of orders, by ensuring that orders are delivered within the established time frame;
  • Maintaining order records, namely those related to order details, invoices and other databases;
  • Ordering supplies and materials;
  • Negotiating with suppliers as to ensure the best prices, delivery options and quality;
  • Ensuring that goods arrive in the warehouse in good condition;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role. 

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a minimum of an O’ Level standard of education;
  • Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • A minimum of a year’s experience within an administrative role is necessary.
