A company with numerous branches globally is currently looking for a hard working individual to join their team of professionals in Malta. The successful applicant will form an integral part of the Pensions Team.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with colleagues to develop and implement operational policies and procedures;
  • Coordinating and completing any projects assigned,  including,  overseeing all aspects of the project,  assigning responsibilities and deadlines to the Pensions Team as well as monitoring progress of projects;
  • Reporting to the company’s Board of Directors;
  • Managing the performance of all aspects of the Pension Team;
  • Providing technical support to the Pensions Team as required;
  • Acting as an escalation point to any client complaints;
  • Identifying and monitoring trends around volume driven activities in order to give strategic advice to client and internal partners for continuous improvement;
  • Identifying, analyzing and proposing recommendations adequate for all business changes;
  • Acting as the contact person for internal and external stakeholders where required;
  • Any other duties which may from time to time arise.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of QROPS, QNUPS, Occupational Pension schemes as well as local pension scheme legislation is necessary;
  • The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, with both internal and external colleagues at all levels;
  • Applicants must either have adequate qualifications and previous experience in a similar role, or else have a clear track record of progression to Pension Manager;
  • A degree qualification in Business, Finance or Managements will be deemed an asset.
