Our client, a renowned local company, is currently looking for an experienced individual to join their team of professionals. The chosen applicant will work under the title of Payroll Officer.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the company’s payroll software system and coordinating staff salaries accordingly;
  • Actively participating in company termination and recruitment processes;
  • Recording and updating of necessary employee and salary data as well as other relevant internal records;
  • Recording absences from work, including sick leave and vacation leave;
  • Monitoring and managing of the timekeeping system;
  • Drafting of employee contracts for both existent and prospective employees;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role.

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be proficient users of MS Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel;
  • Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills;
  • Applicants are expected to have a minimum of A Level standard of education;
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in a similar role.
