We are currently looking for the ideal individual to join our client’s company under the title of Payroll Officer.  The chosen applicant will be tasked with general management of Payroll Operations on behalf of the company.





  • Managing payroll on behalf of the company for both the internal and external portfolios of employees;
  • Coordinating salaries and other staff payments through the use of payroll software;
  • Efficiently and accurately maintaining any databases relevant to payroll operations;
  • Compiling of payroll documents, reports and summaries, for instance those relating to earnings, taxes and leave;
  • Recording of data relating to employee absences;
  • Actively participating in termination and employment procedures;
  • Issuing of payslips;
  • Applying the company’s policies ad procedures whilst conducting any payroll duties;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role.



  • Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, preferably in both English and Maltese;
  • Candidates must have a minimum of an A level standard of education;
  • Applicants must at least have 2 years’ experience working in a similar post;
  • Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office programs is expected. Preference will be given to applicants with previous knowledge of payroll software.
