We are looking for a committed Payroll Clerk. The Applicant shall be responsible for all tasks that include collecting timesheets, calculating wages and making sure the employees receive their pay on time.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify timesheets;
- Input employee details and payroll data into the system;
- Respond to employees inquires and concerns regarding payroll;
- Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, taxes and deductions;
- Processing new recruits, promotions and terminations;
- Issuing statements specifying the earnings and deductions;
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies;
- Maintain and update payroll records;
- Be willing to work on client payroll work;
- Prepare periodic payroll reports.
Requirements:
- An A-level standard of education;
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of payroll software is beneficial.
- Work comfortably with numbers and great attention to detail.
- An ability to work and meet agreed deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure.
