A new job opportunity for a Logistic Clerk has arisen within a locally, well established company. The selected applicant will be tasked with ensuring an optimal supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving requests from clients;
- Liaising with suppliers and asking for estimates;
- Choosing the best offer and quoting it to the client;
- Preparing of sales confirmations and coordinating order delivery;
- Monitoring delivery routes to ensure that schedule adherence is consistently achieved;
- Entering data in systems and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information;
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by arranging and prioritising schedules;
- Any other duties emanating from the role.
Requirements:
- The chosen applicant must have an O-level standard of education;
- Working knowledge of MS Office programs would be considered an asset;
- The ideal candidate must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is expected.
