A new job opportunity for a Logistic Clerk has arisen within a locally, well established company.  The selected applicant will be tasked with ensuring an optimal supply chain.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving requests from clients;
  • Liaising with suppliers and asking for estimates;
  • Choosing the best offer and quoting it to the client;
  • Preparing of sales confirmations and coordinating order delivery;
  • Monitoring delivery routes to ensure that schedule adherence is consistently achieved;
  • Entering data in systems and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information;
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by arranging and prioritising schedules;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role.

 

 

 

Requirements:

  • The chosen applicant must have an O-level standard of education;
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs would be considered an asset;
  • The ideal candidate must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is expected.
