Our client, a leading company in the ship repair industry, is currently on the lookout for the ideal individual to join their Human Resources team under the title of HR Generalist.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing of HR Administration operations, including employee records, remuneration, engagement, termination and any other duties relating to employees;
  • Actively working with Management  in the drafting of new policies as well as in issues related to discipline and industrial relations;
  • Assisting in the formulation and implementation of HR initiatives, plans, employee incentive programs and goals;
  • Managing and updating the on-boarding procedures on behalf of the company;
  • Compiling data and drafting statistical reports, submissions and any other reports necessary;
  • Managing the company’s relationship with both clients and employees by being the first point of contact for the company;
  • Managing HR data and ensuring it is up to date. This includes employee records and contractual records;
  • Any other related duties emanating from the role.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Human Resources Role considered an asset;
  • If the candidate does not have HR experience, a minimum MQF level 5 in a related area would be essential;
  • Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Chosen applicant must be fluent in English and Italian;
  • Candidates must also be proficient users of MS Office Programs.
