Reporting directly to the Board the General Manager the responsibilities include :
Administration and planning:
is to provide Leadership by assisting the Board and staff on long term plans
Evaluate and report to the Board the progress on plans
Recruit and contract staff and project future staff recruitment
development of staff
Marketing and Sales:
Evaluate and analyse local market, negotiate and communicate with clients
Continue building on Export initiatives
Maintain a healthy business relationship with clients.
Liaise with architect and oversee progress of ongoing projects
keep project cost to budget
The ideal candidate will have a financial background with a strong understanding of a business environment. He or she will ideally have at least 5 years experience in a management position and show ambition to keep taking the company forward. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills are required for this post.
