Our client is a locally established company within the Financial Services industry who is currently on the lookout for the ideal candidate to join their team under the title of Financial Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating of financial databases;
- Preparing of financial statements according to legal guidelines and company procedure;
- Liaising with colleagues in different departments as to ensure that accurate audits are conducted;
- Preparing financial reports, as assigned by management from time to time ;
- Preparing and submitting of invoices;
- Performing of month end reconciliations;
- Preparing of budget and performing of relevant budgetary considerations;
- Preparing and submitting of VAT returns;
- Any other duties emanating from the role.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Candidates must be fully qualified accountants;
- Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial position;
- Good command of MS Office programs is expected;
- Applicants in their final stages of completing accounts qualifications will also be considered;
