Our client is a locally established company within the Financial Services industry who is currently on the lookout for the ideal candidate to join their team under the title of Financial Accountant.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating of financial databases;
  • Preparing of financial statements according to legal guidelines and company procedure;
  • Liaising with colleagues in different departments as to ensure that accurate audits are conducted;
  • Preparing financial reports, as assigned by management from time to time ;
  • Preparing and submitting of invoices;
  • Performing of month end reconciliations;
  • Preparing of budget and performing of relevant budgetary considerations;
  • Preparing and submitting of VAT returns;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Candidates must be fully qualified accountants;
  • Applicants must have  a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial position;
  • Good command of MS Office programs is expected;
  • Applicants in their final stages of completing accounts qualifications will also be considered;
