Our client is currently looking for the ideal candidate to join their team of professionals under the role of Compliance Officer. The chosen applicant will be responsible for all day-to-day compliance operations of the company.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the general compliance procedures of the company;
  • Assisting in the process of due diligence checks as necessary;
  • Actively participating in the monitoring of compliance;
  • Ensuring that the monitoring procedures are appropriate and up to date by proposing new systems of assessments;
  • Drafting reports regarding compliance and proposing solutions for noted discrepancies;
  • Ensuring that the company is aligned with the latest laws, procedures and regulations by updating company procedures accordingly;
  • Supporting colleagues in the conduct of security audits;
  • Any other duties which may emanate from the role.

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a regulatory compliance job;
  • The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Candidates must be proficient users of MS Office programs;
  • Preference will be given to applicants with a Compliance or Law related qualification.
