Our client, an established Financial Services company catering for the financial and corporate needs of numerous clients, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Compliance Officer to be responsible for cross border business and pension services offered by the company.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out due diligence, risk assessments and compliance checks for new businesses;
  • Undertaking periodic reviews and risk assessments of existing client relationships and business and on new and existing companies, trusts and retirement scheme members;
  • Dealing with general compliance queries;
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external legislation and regulation;
  • Liaising with the Legal Counsel, corporate and pension teams and compliance personnel in other Sovereign offices;
  • Assisting Legal Counsel in day to day tasks and projects;
  • Any other responsibilities emanating from the role.

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role preferably within a corporate services company;
  • Preference will be given to candidates in possession of Compliance or Legal qualifications.
