An established leading Aviation firm in Malta is currently on the lookout for an experienced individual to join their team of professionals.  The chosen applicant will be joining the Financial Team under the title of Accounts Manager.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing budgets, performance reports and management accounts;
  • Taking responsibility for the allocation of accountancy tasks to staff, depending on their capabilities and experience;
  • Maintain effective internal controls;
  • Overseeing and managing staff whilst carrying out of the general accounting operations of the firm;
  • Completing of company accounts which are to be passed on for audit in a timely manner;
  • Overseeing the payroll function of the firm;
  • Providing training and mentoring to all staff, depending on necessity;
  • Reporting regularly to upper management;
  • Satisfying any additional duties emanating from the role.

 

 

Requirements:

  • The ideal applicant must currently be in the process of acquiring an Accountancy qualification such as ACCA;
  • Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of a year’s experience working in a similar role;
  • The chosen applicant must be fluent in English;
