A new role has arisen in one of our clients’ company for an experienced and motivated individual.  The chosen applicant will take on the role of Accounts Executive.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing of day-to-day accounting operations;
  • Checking, issuing and posting of invoices whilst maintaining Accounts Receivables and Payables;
  • Maintaining of databases by inputting data and ensuring that data is accurate and up to date;
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other entities with regards to routine accounting reconciliations;
  • Drafting of reports as requested by upper management;
  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts;
  • Conducting of bank, inter-company and cash reconciliations;
  • Guiding colleagues within the accounts department and supervising work processes;
  • Preparing budgetary reports and providing insight and suggestions for any prospective budgets;
  • Liaising with colleagues as to ensure effective audits;
  • Any other duties which may arise from time to time.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be part-qualified accountants, in the process of finalizing ACCA;
  • Applicants must have a minimum of a year’s prior experience in a position related to accounts;
  • Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Preference will be given to applicants with a sound knowledge of MS Office programs as well as general accounting software.
