A new role has arisen in one of our clients’ company for an experienced and motivated individual. The chosen applicant will take on the role of Accounts Executive.
Responsibilities:
- Managing of day-to-day accounting operations;
- Checking, issuing and posting of invoices whilst maintaining Accounts Receivables and Payables;
- Maintaining of databases by inputting data and ensuring that data is accurate and up to date;
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other entities with regards to routine accounting reconciliations;
- Drafting of reports as requested by upper management;
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts;
- Conducting of bank, inter-company and cash reconciliations;
- Guiding colleagues within the accounts department and supervising work processes;
- Preparing budgetary reports and providing insight and suggestions for any prospective budgets;
- Liaising with colleagues as to ensure effective audits;
- Any other duties which may arise from time to time.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be part-qualified accountants, in the process of finalizing ACCA;
- Applicants must have a minimum of a year’s prior experience in a position related to accounts;
- Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Preference will be given to applicants with a sound knowledge of MS Office programs as well as general accounting software.
