We are currently on the lookout for the ideal individual to join  a renowned company within the local Healthcare Industry.  The chosen applicant will be tasked with a number of accounting duties.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Posting and submitting client and distributor invoices;
  • Handling the submission and preparation of VAT and Tax returns;
  • Ensuring that all accounts operations are being done according to the appropriate practices and statutory requirements;
  • Liaising with different government entities, namely the MFSA, tax department and the VAT department;
  • Supporting colleagues in the preparation of financial statements by aiding in the collection of documentation or in the drafting of documents;
  • Maintaining of accounting records and handling general bookkeeping duties on behalf of the company;
  • Partaking in projects as assigned by senior staff.

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates must preferably be partly qualified accountants either possessing an Accountancy Degree or else in the final stages of finishing ACCA;
  • Applicants should have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a similar role;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary;
  • Priority will be given to candidates with knowledge of standard accounts programs.
