We are currently on the lookout for the ideal individual to join a renowned company within the local Healthcare Industry. The chosen applicant will be tasked with a number of accounting duties.
Responsibilities:
- Posting and submitting client and distributor invoices;
- Handling the submission and preparation of VAT and Tax returns;
- Ensuring that all accounts operations are being done according to the appropriate practices and statutory requirements;
- Liaising with different government entities, namely the MFSA, tax department and the VAT department;
- Supporting colleagues in the preparation of financial statements by aiding in the collection of documentation or in the drafting of documents;
- Maintaining of accounting records and handling general bookkeeping duties on behalf of the company;
- Partaking in projects as assigned by senior staff.
Requirements:
- Candidates must preferably be partly qualified accountants either possessing an Accountancy Degree or else in the final stages of finishing ACCA;
- Applicants should have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a similar role;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary;
- Priority will be given to candidates with knowledge of standard accounts programs.
