A leading company within the healthcare industry is currently on the lookout for a new individual to join the company’s Finance Team. The chosen individual will take the role of Accounts Clerk and will report to the Financial Controller.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handling of Bank Reconciliations and posting correcting entries, where necessary;
  • Handling of Petty Cash Reconciliation;
  • Issuing of payments to third parties and service providers;
  • Following up on payments as to ensure approval and accuracy;
  • Recording and posting invoices and payments into the Company’s Accounting System;
  • Assisting in the handling of daily deposits;
  • Assisting in credit control related duties;
  • Preparing timely periodic reports to assist in the analysis of the management accounts;
  • Handling any other day-to-day accounting duties as to support the Financial Controller of the Company.

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be in possession of an A’ level standard qualification in Accounting or similar;
  • Applicants must be a proficient user of MS Office software, namely Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • The ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be deemed an asset.
