An established company within the Financial Services industry is currently looking for the ideal individual to join their Accounts Department under the role of Accounts Clerk. .

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day accounting needs of the department;
  •  Drafting financial reports as requested and subsequently partaking in audits;
  • Compiling information on tax payments for the purpose of tax filing;
  • Managing the filing system used for financial documents;
  • Managing the general bookkeeping duties of the company;
  • Posting and handling of receipts and invoices as necessary whilst checking their accuracy;
  • Investigating questionable data and conducting verification checks of invoices, bank accounts and so on;
  • Handling any other duties emanating from the role.

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a minimum of a year’s minimum experience working in a similar role;
  • Applicants should also have a minimum of A’ level qualification, preferably in Accounting or equivalent;
  • The ideal applicant should be a proficient user of MS Office programs;
  • Having working knowledge of other Accounting programs will also be considered an asset.
