One of our esteemed clients operating within the maritime sector is currently on the lookout for a committed individual to join their Accounting Team under the title of Accounts Clerk.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the company’s bookkeeping operations by posting general ledger documents;
  • Issuing invoices to clients, chasing debtors and recording receipts;
  • Assisting in the issuing of payments to suppliers;
  • Preparing any inter-company reconciliations as assigned by upper management;
  • Reaching up to the trial-balance stage;
  • Carrying out any other duties that may arise from time to time.

 

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must be qualified with a Bachelor’s degree(EQF level 6) in Accounting or Finance;
  • Candidates must at least have a year’s worth of experience working in a similar role;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Italian are expected.
