One of our esteemed clients is seeking an Accounts Clerk to join their dynamic team within their Accounts Department. The chosen applicant will be tasked with several general accounting responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting department;
- Preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records;
- Handling bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements;
- Reconciling of accounts in a timely manner;
- Issuing invoices to clients, chasing debtors and recording receipts;
- Filing documents according to company procedures;
- Assisting the finance team in the drafting of financial reports;
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate must have an A’ Level education in Accounts with a solid understanding of accounting terminology;
- Applicants must be proficient users of MS Office Programs, namely of Excel, Word and Power Point;
- Prior work experience in a similar role is not necessary, but will be deemed an asset;
- Candidates must possess good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese.
