A new job opportunity for an Accounts Clerk has arisen within a locally, well established company. The selected applicant will be tasked to assist the accounts department.
Responsibilities:
- Updating of day-to-day accounting records;
- Maintaining the general ledger and respective reconciliations;
- Processing and submitting of invoices;
- Chasing debtors and recording receipts from clients;
- Issuing and processing of payments;
- Preparing of deposits and keeping accurate records relating to accounts receivable;
- Liaising with auditors and other colleagues for the preparation of company audits;
- Assisting in preparation of financial reports;
- Any other duties ancillary to the role of Accounts Clerk.
Requirements:
- The chosen applicant must have an A-level standard of education, preferably in accounting;
- Candidates must at least have a year’s worth of experience working in a similar role;
- Working knowledge of MS Office programs, as well as experience using accounting programs would be considered an asset;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Italian are expected.
