A new job opportunity for an Accounts Clerk has arisen within a locally, well established company.  The selected applicant will be tasked to assist the accounts department.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Updating of day-to-day accounting records;
  • Maintaining the general ledger and respective reconciliations;
  • Processing and submitting of invoices;
  • Chasing debtors and recording receipts from clients;
  • Issuing and processing of payments;
  • Preparing of deposits and keeping accurate records relating to accounts receivable;
  • Liaising with auditors and other colleagues for the preparation of company audits;
  • Assisting in preparation of financial reports;
  • Any other duties ancillary to the role of Accounts Clerk.

 

 

 

 

Requirements:

  • The chosen applicant must have an A-level standard of education, preferably in accounting;
  • Candidates must at least have a year’s worth of experience working in a similar role;
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs, as well as experience using accounting programs would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Italian are expected.
