One of our esteemed clients within the local Financial Services sector is currently on the lookout for an experienced individual to join their Accounting Team under the title of Accounts Clerk.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting general accounting demands of  the company;
  • Maintaining the database and ensuring that all documentation is updated and saved accordingly;
  • Processing of invoices and goods received notes;
  • Partaking in the company’s bookkeeping operations by posting general ledger documents;
  • Preparing any inter-company reconciliations as assigned by upper management;
  • Assisting in the issuing of payments to suppliers;
  • Liaising with auditors in the preparatory processes for the company’s internal audit;
  • Carrying out any other duties assigned by the Financial Controller.

 

 

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must have A’ Level qualifications or equivalent in Accounts;
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a similar role;
  • Candidates must have good communication skills in both Maltese and English languages.
