A new opportunity has arisen for a determined individual to work as an Accounts Clerk in a locally renowned Financial Services company.  The chosen applicant will form an integral part in the company’s administrative and accounting operations.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing of the company’s filing system according to established procedures;
  • Maintaining of databases, by entering new data, updating existing data and ensuring that everything is accurately recorded as necessary;
  • Performing of bank, cash, sales and other inter company reconciliations;
  • Posting of invoices;
  • Maintaining of general ledgers and partaking in other book-keeping activities;
  • Any other duties which may arise from time to time.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Candidates must be proficient users of MS Office programs, as well as other relevant accounting programs;
  • Applicants must have a minimum of an A level standard of education in Accounts, and a good level of education in Mathematics;
  • Although this is not a must, preference will be given to applicants with previous experience working in a similar role;
