We currently require an Accounts Clerk to join a leading company within the local Financial Services sector. The successful applicant will be tasked with general day-to-day accounting duties.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participating in general-bookkeeping operations on behalf of the company;
- Posting and issuing of invoices as necessary;
- Processing of accounts payable;
- Filing of documentation and invoices according to the company’s procedures and policies;
- Maintaining of databases and inputting of new data according to necessity;
- Preparing a variety of reconciliations regularly, including petty cash, inter company reconciliations and bank reconciliations;
- Any other duties emanating from the role.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be in possession of A level standard qualifications or equivalent in Accounts;
- The ideal applicant must be a proficient user of MS Office programs, with particular knowledge of Excel;
- Candidates must possess good verbal and written communication skills;
- Whilst this is not mandatory, preference will be given to applicants with similar prior experience.
