We currently require an Accounts Clerk to join a leading company within the local Financial Services sector. The successful applicant will be tasked with general day-to-day accounting duties.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participating in general-bookkeeping operations on behalf of the company;
  • Posting and issuing of invoices as necessary;
  • Processing of accounts payable;
  • Filing of documentation and invoices according to the company’s procedures and policies;
  • Maintaining of databases and inputting of new data according to necessity;
  • Preparing a variety of reconciliations regularly, including petty cash, inter company reconciliations and bank reconciliations;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role.

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be in possession of A level standard qualifications or equivalent in Accounts;
  • The ideal applicant must be a proficient user of MS Office programs, with particular knowledge of Excel;
  • Candidates must possess good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Whilst this is not mandatory, preference will be given to applicants with similar prior experience.
