We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our client’s team.  The chosen applicant will be tasked with various administrative and clerical duties related to the company’s accounting operations.





  • Handling of general clerical duties, including maintenance of the company’s filing system among other administrative procedures of the company;
  • Maintaining company databases by recording transactions on behalf of the company and ensuring that accounting records are updated;
  • Acting as a contact point for employees and clients alike by handling correspondence and referring it to the appropriate colleague where necessary;
  • Conducting reconciliations on behalf of the company, including bank, sales and other internal reconciliations;
  • Issuing of sales receipts;
  • Partaking in monthly reporting obligations;
  • Drafting and partaking in the conducting of financial statements upon the demand of superiors;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role.



  • Applicants must be in possession of a minimum of A level qualifications or equivalent in Accounting;
  • Candidates must have a minimum of a years’ experience working in a similar role within the Financial Services Sector;
  • Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills;
  • Candidates are expected to be proficient users of MS Office Programs.  Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge or experience using Accounting Programs.
