We are currently on the lookout for the ideal individual to work as an Accounts Clerk in our client’s company.  The chosen applicant will be tasked with several general accounting responsibilities.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Posting of day-to-day accounting entries;
  • Performing various reconciliations, including bank and petty cash reconciliation;
  • Processing and issuing of invoices;
  • Entering data and regularly updating databases as assigned;
  • Forwarding and filing documents according to company procedures;
  • Assisting colleagues in the drafting of financial reports;
  • Actively participating in the company’s general book-keeping activities, namely by maintaining the general ledger and any other statutory records assigned;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role.

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have an A’ Level education in Accounts and corresponding qualifications;
  • Applicants must be proficient users of MS Office Programs, namely of Excel, Words and Power Point;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary;
  • Prior work experience in a similar role is not necessary, but will be deemed an asset.
