Our client is currently on the lookout for the ideal individual to join their accounts team under the role of Accounts Clerk. The role involves general administrative and accounting duties necessary to support the company’s operations.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Inputting and issuing of payments, invoices, statements and sale orders;
  • Conducting of bank, cash and petty sales reconciliations regularly;
  • Supporting colleagues in the completion of VAT returns;
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts;
  • Maintaining the accounts ledgers as requested;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role.

 

Requirements:

  •  The chosen applicant must be a proficient user of MS Office Suite and must also be familiar with basic accounts programs;
  • Candidates must have an O Level standard of education in Accounts or equivalent;
  • A minimum of a years’ experience working in a similar role is also expected.
