We are currently seeking to recruit a motivated individual to work within a financial services company enjoying a leading position in the local Financial Sector. The successful applicant will join our client’s team of professionals under the role of Accounts Assistant.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing clients with advice and clarification whenever any accounts queries are addressed by them;
  • Preparing and submitting of VAT returns and management accounts;
  • Conducting reconciliations, namely related to bank, loans and cash balances;
  • Drafting financial reports upon the request of superiors and assisting in the drafting of the annual financial statements;
  • Liaising with auditors in the conduct of the annual audit;
  • Handling of the posting of invoices and issuing of payments;
  • Any other duties emanating from the role.

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must either be in the initial stages of ACCA or in possession of an A level in Accounts or similar;
  • Whilst not mandatory, previous experience working in an office environment is deemed an asset;
  • Candidates must be proficient users of MS Office programs;
  • Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
