A leading financial services firm in Malta is expanding and recruiting an Accounts and Payroll Assistant.  The role is offered on a full-time basis with a degree of flexibility which may be negotiated.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Payroll duties:

  • Compile and take care of payroll calculations on behalf of clients;
  • Assist in HR Administrative matters such as employee engagement and termination forms;
  • Verifying the accuracy of timesheets if deemed necessary;
  • Liaise with clients on any queries or adjustments required;
  • Maintain proper archiving of client’s data as per company policies.

Accounts duties:

  • Reaching up to trail balance stage;
  • Posting of invoices;
  • Assisting in Management Accounts;
  • Any other duties emanating from the above or as required by management.

 

 

Requirements:

  • The ideal applicant must either have a  minimum of 1 year experience or at least an A-level standard of education;
  • Fluency in English is required.
