A leading financial services firm in Malta is expanding and recruiting an Accounts and Payroll Assistant. The role is offered on a full-time basis with a degree of flexibility which may be negotiated.
Responsibilities:
Payroll duties:
- Compile and take care of payroll calculations on behalf of clients;
- Assist in HR Administrative matters such as employee engagement and termination forms;
- Verifying the accuracy of timesheets if deemed necessary;
- Liaise with clients on any queries or adjustments required;
- Maintain proper archiving of client’s data as per company policies.
Accounts duties:
- Reaching up to trail balance stage;
- Posting of invoices;
- Assisting in Management Accounts;
- Any other duties emanating from the above or as required by management.
Requirements:
- The ideal applicant must either have a minimum of 1 year experience or at least an A-level standard of education;
- Fluency in English is required.
